Tra Su Forest located about 20km away from Chau Doc City. It’s not very large but is great place to get around. The best way to explore the forest is to take a boat trip.
Local tourists love this place and come here during weekend. There are some rest stops that sell local specialty around the forest. It would be very interesting to take a rowing boat and get around the forest watching birds.
As a Fixer in Vietnam, I have been visited this forest so many times with my clients. Every time is a different purpuse; photography tours to explore the mekong delta; and sometimes with a film maker to film local life and birds. This wet land area is home to thousand of birds.
