Fixer in Vietnam – Sunrise at Ba Dong Beach

Fixer in Vietnam – Shooting Local Fishermen before Sunrise at Ba Dong Beach – Duyen Hai District – the Mekong Delta – Vietnam.
This time, as a Fixer in Vietnam, my clients asked me to get them to somewhere in Vietnam to film local fishermen preparing for their catch before sunrise. But the clients also want somewhere not too far from Ho Chi Minh City. There are some options and locations that we could visit. But I recommended them to visit Ba Dong Beach because it’s one of the most beautiful coastal district in the Mekong Delta to shoot sunrise.
The location is convenience and only 3 hours from Ho Chi Minh City. The texture of the sandy beach every morning when the water withdraw makes the beach more beautiful and the reflection is amazing. They all make this beach amazing for filming and photography.
Another great thing about this coastal town is that the local fishermen still use traditional fishing method to catch fish. It’s incredible and interesting to film.
So after everything was set. I picked up my clients in Ho Chi Minh City and then we went to Duyen Hai District. We stayed there one night and the next morning we got up at 5AM and went to Ba Dong Beach waiting for the sun to rise and began to film.
Here are a few behind the scene photos which I took during the trip. Hope you like it.
